Isn't it? Sadness, pain, fear... all those negative feelings are important. We don't know how to function without them. We can't.

I definitely felt weird without it.
And when someone was hurting... I couldn't really tell.

I'm not glad that it happened, but I think I learned not to take that suffering for granted.

So far, I've heard of a group being put in a maze with a minotaur, a group whose limbs and extremities fell off their bodies, one person said they were attacked by plants, one person said they were attacked by old women that tried to eat them, and my roommate and his group ran into demons that tried to tempt them into taking a deal.

It almost feels like we got off lucky in comparison.
